Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using NearYou. These terms govern your use of our platform and the services offered through it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the NearYou website or mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Platform Description
NearYou is a marketplace platform that connects customers with independent home service providers in Qatar. We facilitate bookings but are not directly responsible for the services performed by providers.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate, complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
4. Booking & Payments
All prices are displayed in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and include applicable taxes. Payment is processed securely at the time of booking or upon service completion as specified. By confirming a booking, you agree to pay the displayed amount.
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled service are free of charge. Cancellations within 2 hours of the service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the service cost. No-shows are charged in full.
6. Provider Terms
Service providers on NearYou are independent contractors, not employees of NearYou. Providers must maintain valid licenses, insurance and certifications required for their services. Providers agree to our quality standards and code of conduct.
7. Prohibited Activities
Users and providers may not: use the platform for fraudulent purposes; solicit other users outside the platform; post false or misleading reviews; engage in harassment or discrimination; or attempt to circumvent our payment systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
NearYou's liability is limited to the value of the service booked. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or the services provided by independent providers.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on the NearYou platform, including logos, text, images and software, is the property of NearYou and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from the use of NearYou shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
11. Changes to Terms
NearYou reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be notified via email or platform notice. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
